Sponsorship is amazing.
Most sponsorship isn’t.

I’m Kim Skildum-Reid. For three decades I’ve helped sponsors and rightsholders stop scratching the surface of what this medium can do. You get a blunt assessment, a roadmap you can actually act on, and me — not a junior staffer, because there aren’t any.

The idea everything here is built on

Meaning is sponsorship’s superpower

Sponsorship is driven by passion and authenticity. It creates indelible bonds with fans and customers, and hands sponsors marketing power no other medium can match — because you are connecting with people through something they have already decided they care about.

And yet most organisations barely scratch the surface, then wonder why their sponsorships never really catch fire. Best practice sponsorship isn’t a nicer logo placement. It’s a different starting point: what do these people actually care about, and what can we do that makes their experience of it better?

Kim introduced us to the Win-Win-Win principle that I believe is a true game changer in how to approach sponsorship in any company, within any sector. Since working with Kim we have seen a significant decrease in verbal/brand slap deals of old and an increase in next level best practice sponsorship.

Why me

You are hiring a person, not a pitch deck

  • I’ve written the two bestselling toolkits in the industry, and they get updated because the industry moves.
  • Your work is never handed to a junior. There are no juniors — I do all strategy, training, and advisory work personally.
  • I don’t pull punches. If you need an overhaul, I’ll say so, and then I’ll give you the roadmap for doing it.
  • Most of my clients are repeats or referrals, including people who hire me again at their next organisation.
  • I do my homework before I walk in, so we spend the time building plans instead of building context.

What clients say

The results, in their words

She ran workshops for our sponsors to maximise the value they received from their association with the Games. These were extremely well received by our corporate partners and also led to some extraordinary commercial outcomes for our sponsors.

Peter StewartCEO, 2023 Pacific Games, Solomon Islands

Kim’s content is incredibly insightful and practical, offering actionable strategies that a team can implement immediately. I would highly recommend this workshop to any organisation looking to elevate their sponsorship game. It’s a valuable investment that delivers tangible results.

Kelle TaylorGM Partnerships, Melbourne Football Club

This served to build capacity within my newly formed team, reinforce the vision and commercial direction we were taking, assist in reinvigorating our proposal writing and creating leveraging ideas. Thank you for your sage wisdom and expertise.
